SKKIL FAMILY ON TOUR VAL D'ISERE 2022

67th Critérium de la première neige

The SKKIL athletes, set off this weekend on the mythical Bellevarde face for the 67th edition of the Critérium de la première neige, in front of a fired up French public.

The giant : Saturday December 10th
At the start of the giant race this Saturday, we found our SKKIL ambassadors: Victor Muffat-Jeandet, Loevan Parrand and Cyprien Sarrazin.

Finishing 18th in this giant, Victor made us thrilled on the top of the course by lighting up green on the stopwatch. Solid and promising sectors for the rest of the season!

It's only a postponement for Loevan, young rising star of the European Cup circuit, who will not pass the cut of the second run and Cyprien, disappointed by his exit on the top of the course.

A giant won by the Swiss skier in great shape, Marco Odermatt, current leader of the world circuit in front of the Austrian Manuel Feller and the Slovenian Jan Kranjec.

The slalom: Sunday, December 11
The slalom team led by our Beijing Olympic Champion and SKKIL ambassador Clément Noël, launched its season this Sunday in Val d'Isère.

Unfortunately the 2021 title holder will not reach the finish line, he started well at the beginning of the course and then got stuck after 20 seconds. It is the young Norwegian Lucas Braathen who will win this edition 2022 ahead of the Austrian skier Manuel Feller, achieving an excellent weekend! The Swiss Valaisan Loïc Meillard takes the 3rd place.

Back on the slalom World Cup after his serious injury last winter in Zagreb, Victor Muffat-Jeandet finishes once again 18th!

On the side of the newcomers, Steven Amiez is not far from being able to express himself on the second run.  In form, with a solid ski we will follow him on the European Cup circuit this week!
